Plastic Injection Mold and Part Manufacturing Services

The right service depends on whether you need engineering input, a new mold, finished plastic parts, a transferred tool, or a coordinated path from design review to production. Use the service map below to start with the decision you need to make.

Mold design team reviewing plastic injection tooling

Services by project decision

Injection mold engineering

Use this route when the product design, DFM risks, mold layout, or simulation questions need to be resolved before tooling.

Custom mold manufacturing

Use this route for approved mold design, steel and components, machining, assembly, T1, modifications, and shipment.

Custom injection molding

Use this route for prototype, low-volume, repeat, or production molded parts with material, quality, packaging, and delivery requirements.

CNC and EDM machining

Use this route for cores, cavities, inserts, electrodes, fixtures, prototypes, and technical metal parts.

Insert and overmolding

Use this route when a metal insert, substrate, elastomer, or second material changes the mold and process design.

Transfer, repair, or modification

Use this route when an existing mold needs condition assessment, relocation, maintenance, engineering change, or requalification.

A scoped quotation instead of a generic package

A useful quotation separates tooling, part production, inspection, packaging, logistics, and any outside process. It also identifies the inputs still missing: resin grade, volume, critical dimensions, surface standard, cavity plan, machine fit, ownership terms, or approval method. Use the RFQ checklist to prepare the brief.

Not sure which service is the right starting point?

Send the current drawing or CAD file and describe whether you need a mold, parts, engineering review, or support for an existing tool.

Let's review your mold project

Tell us what you’re building and we’ll help identify the right tooling path. Send your 2D drawing, 3D CAD file, resin, annual volume, tolerances, or target timeline when available.

Engineering-led reviewReply within one business dayConfidential project details

No obligation. We’ll review the information and reply with a practical next step. Prefer email? jerry@cavitymold.com.
